John 15:5-6 (Nothing)
Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned. (John 15:5-6)

Storm and the Word
One whole day Jesus preached about God’s Kingdom. On that day, when evening had come, Jesus said to them, “Let us go across to the other side.” The word of God is given in order to lead us ashore, a heavenly aboard, with abundance of life! But the word is considered by many only for material blessings.
I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing. – Hosea 8:12
For obtaining abundance of life we must have the living word within us. Perhaps the disciples were good listeners of the word and happy to have Jesus himself in their boat throughout the journey.
